Since 2009, we have been building relationships and serving patients throughout the New York Metropolitan area as well as those traveling from around the world. Our offices are conveniently located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan and in Massapequa, Long Island.
Dr. Waseem Mir established NYIR with the vision of providing comprehensive and unique rheumatological care. Our focus is to identify and treat underlying causes of disease using a systems-oriented approach. This approach advocates viewing the human body as a whole integrated system with an inherent self-healing process as opposed to an isolated set of symptoms or organs.
